The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is located in the central Africa to the south from the Sahara, Angola, the Southern Atlantic Ocean, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania through the lake Tanganyika and Zambia borders with (clockwise from the southwest). The country is between the latitudes of 6 °C. Sh.I 14 ° SL. Both longitudes 12 ° and 32 ° century. It covers the Equator, from one third to the North and two thirds to the South. ABOUT THE COUNTRY

Democratic Republic of the Congo (French: Democratic Democratic Republic of the Congo), also known as B'day of Congo, DRK, Congo-Kinshasa or just Congo, the country located in the Central Africa. It sometimes call its former name Zaire which was its official name during the period between 1971 and 1997. DRK borders on the Central African Republic and South Sudan in the north; Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania on the East; Zambia on the South; Angola on the southwest; both Republic of Congo and Atlantic Ocean in the West. It is the second-large country in Africa after Algeria (the largest in Africa to the south from the Sahara) on the area and the 11th in size in the world. With the population more than 78 million people. The Democratic Republic of the Congo is the French-speaking country most densely populated officially, the country, the fourth on population, in Africa and the 16th the most inhabited country in the world.

CLIMATE

The tropical climate also created the system of Congo River which dominates over the region in the topographical relation together with the rainforest through which it proceeds though they aren't mutually exclusive. The name of the state of Congo is received partially from the river. The river basin (that is meant by Congo River and all its numerous inflows) occupies almost whole country and makes nearly 1 000 000 sq.km (390 000 quarter. Miles). The river and its inflows make fundamentals of Congolese economy and transport. The main inflows include Kasai, to Sangkh, Ubangi, Ruzizi, Aruwimi and Lulongu.

NATURE

Rainforests of the Democratic Republic of the Congo contain a big variety of a biodiversity, including a set of rare and endemic species, such as chimpanzee and бонобо, the African forest elephant, a mountain gorilla, okap and a white rhinoceros. Five of national parks of the country are listed as objects of the world heritage: national areas Garumba, Kakhuzi-Biga, Salonga and Virunga and also reserve Okapi. The Democratic Republic of the Congo is the most diverse African country.
