Consists of the area of 514 000 sq.km (198 456 quarter. TOPOGRAPHY

Thailand can be divided into five main physical regions: the central valley, the continental mountain area in the North and the northwest, the northeast, the southeast coast and the peninsula. Heart of the nation is the central valley coming to the Gulf of Thailand and from three parties surrounded with hills and mountains. This valley, the alluvial plain of the river of Chao Praya and her numerous inflows and distributors makes 365 km (227 miles) from the North on the South and has the average width of 160-240 km (100-150 miles). On this plain, and especially on its flat deltan bordering on the Persian Gulf there are main agricultural richness and settlements of Thailand.
